First Artisan interview out on Alternative Matter
I did my first Artisan-related interview recently, it’s out now. Here’s how it turned out;
The rise of social media platforms like Twitter and Facebook give bands and artists unprecedented freedom to promote their music without the interference of any record company. Borknagar guitarist Jens F Ryland decided to capitalise on this by starting his own multimedia project, called Artisan. Besides music it features a very informative blog component as well. I had a very pleasant conversation with the man himself about this Artisan project, his other musical exploits with Borknagar and ICS Vortex and about the apparent acceptance of extreme metal in more mainstream circles.. In anticipation
This week I’ve focused a lot on other stuff then the music- related actions. I’m also still installing my work- PC and I’m still not 100% operational. At least I got my Guitar- Rig Mobile in today, maybe next week I can install Cubase 5 and start looking at the Borknagar songs for the next album. I also need to work on the ICS Vortex material…

Mustis joins Artisan
As we’re closing in on the first release from Artisan I’m very proud to announce that Mustis is a part of this project. Artisan is a music and media experiment and Mustis is contributing to the announced music- video for the pc- game Age of Conan.
