Outplayed by donks on a draw

Asgeir playing poker in Vegas
There’s been a lot of poker the first days in Vegas. The city is full of donks and they keep rivering me… I’m always the favourite when I get it in, but the donks get lucky all the time. I’m not saying I don’t win pots, but I seem to always lose the big pots. Read the rest of this entry »

Online games, what is it really?

Are you familiar with the term MMORPG?

As the release of the first Artisan video now approaches, I’d like to share some facts and viewpoints about the universe of Online Gaming and why it attracts so many people.

I always get the same reaction from people who know nothing about Multi Media Online Roleplaying Games (mmorpg), they think I’m rather childish to be playing at my age and they’ve heard only bad things about it, specially when it comes to abuse and addiction.  And I have a feeling the Artisan video will create more of the same reactions, let’s say I’m preparing my defence he he.

Favorite Sit-coms and TV-series

I have an ambivalent relation with my TV. It’s always on, but I rarely watch it.

I like to watch the news, but if you watch the news-channel more then 5 minutes, it starts to repeat itself. I can watch some sports, but not very often. But I really like to watch sit-coms and series. The development in technology over the last years has really revolutionized how you can keep up with the new series, not like when “Friends” first came on here in Norway, I think it was on every Tuesday night at 22:30, if you couldn’t make it then you would have to wait for the DVD.

Our TV has an option to record programs, and that’s probably my favorite invention in TV technology since the TV itself was introduced. These days our hard-disc is filled with “Big Bang Theory” and “Modern Family”, and of course all the children’s programs needed to keep a 16 month old boy occupied whenever needed.
