On Tuesday I played the $1500 WSOP event #48. This is actually the first time I play WSOP despite being in Vegas many times before. You get three times the buy-in in chips so I started with 4500. It’s one hour blind periods and it starts with 25/25. Read the rest of this entry »
Outplayed by donks on a draw

There’s been a lot of poker the first days in Vegas. The city is full of donks and they keep rivering me… I’m always the favourite when I get it in, but the donks get lucky all the time. I’m not saying I don’t win pots, but I seem to always lose the big pots. Read the rest of this entry »
Back in Vegas!

I absolutely hate the airfare to Las Vegas. 8+ hours on a plane is gruelling and it bores me to death. This time I travelled through Newark, so the trip was 8 hours Oslo-Newark, 5 hours in transit and then 5 hours Newark-Las Vegas. Read the rest of this entry »
Getting ready for Vegas

Woohoo, tomorrow I head for Las Vegas! Every summer I go there to play some serious poker, and this will be my fourth time. OK, I (try to) play serious poker thoughout the whole year in Norway too but nothing is like going full tilt in Vegas! It’s going to be a special trip since my buddy Tommy Strønen Kaare is joining me the first 7 days of my 2,5 weeks there.
