I’ve been away for a few days in family business, but back in the ring again

Asgeir has been taking care of everything while I had my head elsewhere, and that means the Artisan song has progressed quite a bit. I’m rather excited today as we’re heading up to Toproom studios to finish up the vocals. Asgeir, Vortex and myself. I’ll let you know how that went tomorrow.

It’s been two busy weeks, with Borknagar studio work, Artisan studio work, ICS Vortex band rehearsal, meetings, family stuff and so on.

We had our first rehearsal with the full ICS Vortex band. Everyone present: Vortex, Asgeir, Cyrus, Azarak and myself.

And now things are starting to happen for us on all sides, don’t be shocked if we start announcing concerts soon

Asgeir has done two good interviews in the “10 questions to:” – series. One with Steve Smyth from Forbidden and one with Cato Bekkevold from Enslaved

I also spent a couple of days in studio Toproom where Dave was recording drums for the next Borknagar album. This resulted in one post here on Artisan web and one on the Borknagar web.

And a few other posts as well.

Let me also show you what “everyone” in Norway is talking about these last days. The tv- channel NRK is doing a 5 day long live broadcast where they film the journey of a cruise- ship that travels from Bergen up to Kirkenes, the city on the border to Russia. This is a very popular tourist rout and has long traditions in Norway. It’s not one ship, but 11 ships that patrol this rout. This broadcast started Thursday afternoon and the ship named “MS NordNorge” is now in the Northern parts of Norway, where I’m from.

The broadcast might have some interest for those who wants a glimpse of the coast- line of Norway, they are visiting some spectacular fjords. Later today you can see the spectacular “Trollfjorden” for example and they have already been into “Geiranger” and some other epic locations.
