Artisan and Borknagar, the connection
I don’t think I should spend loads of time introducing Borknagar here. Borknagar is a band that already has 17 years of history, and I’ve been a part of the last 14 of those. You can read more about this on the Borknagar web.
Borknagar and Artisan are different in structure and expression, and there is no conflict of interest. Main difference is that while Borknagar is a collective with Øystein as the boss, Artisan is my own project. I can allow myself to experiment more in Artisan and not worry about stepping outside any limits.
You can follow both Borknagar and ICS Vortex from this blog and it will be my personal angle and stories.
Borknagar has not been very active the last 10 years, but that is about to change. This involves more ambitions, plans, focus and dedication. It also involves a renewal of the web- solutions, something I’m very much looking forward to.
Already tomorrow Øystein and me are going down to Dortmund in Germany to meet with some people and to host as DJ’s at a metal- club. The outcome of this will be revealed in a few days. I see this as something of a new start. For those with interest in the Borknagar universe keep an eye up for this, I’m going to have loads of fun

Artisan – Borknagar – ICS Vortex – Sarke

Hi, Jens
The idea of this blog is super cool. I don`t know what`s happening in the Bork camp but I`m wondering that it might be awesome to play at this festival http://www.artmaniafestival.ro/en/.
I`m a long time fan of Bork so it would be nice to see you playing live. Anyway I hope for the best for Artisan and Bork.
Cheers
